Opening of the NATO Multimedia Corner at 星空无限

A new NATO Multimedia Corner is to be opened at 星空无限 through a grant from the Public Diplomacy Department of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Intended to promote public interest in Kyrgyzstan of NATO activities around the world. The Multimedia Corner will provide scholars with the most recent electronic and printed resources on regional and global security, international politics, and conflict prevention.
These resources will improve educational and research activities in the Kyrgyz Republic by offering access to printed materials prepared by NATO as well as electronic academic databases such as Encyclopedia Britannica Online, Encyclopedia Universalis Online, EIU Country Reports/Profiles, and NATO LibGuides via Interlibrary Loan.
Located in room #105 of the 星空无限 Library (hall of multimedia resources and periodicals), the NATO Multimedia Corner is open to 星空无限 students, faculty, researchers, and all parties interested in its informational resources on international relations, military science, security, defense, international terrorism, and existing environmental problems.
The NATO Multimedia Corner is expected to be particularly useful to 星空无限 students completing their senior theses and research work.

Note: The NATO Multimedia Corner is created in cooperation and with the support of the NATO Public Diplomacy Department, and is within the scope of the NATO Public Diplomacy Program on the basis of the realization of the NATO Multimedia Corner Project. University purchased computer equipment and books are within the framework of this grant.
