First day of the Orientation Program 2023

On Monday, August 21, Orientation Oprogrma 2023 officially kicked off. The first day of Orientation is always a thrilling and memorable experience for freshmen and the whole 星空无限 community. With a perfect blend of freshness, fun activities, and traditional welcoming activities, the day set the tone for an unforgettable journey for all incoming freshmen.

Over the next two weeks, our freshmen will get acquainted with the openness and traditions of 星空无限, learn about the unique spirit of the university, as well that studying is not only a passive presence at lectures but an active, creative process in which faculty and students equally participate.

The official part of the greetings ceremony began with a volunteer dancing and time-honoured Apple Ceremony. During the welcoming ceremony, Dr Timothy E. O'Connor, the new 星空无限 President, outlined the 星空无限 mission statement and wished freshmen perseverance and persistence in achieving their goals.
