Aidana Umetalieva is a senior student of the Sociology department. She enjoys learning, meeting new people, and exploring different perspectives. She likes helping others and making connections that make everyday life more enjoyable.听

Aidana has been a peer advisor for two years, helping freshmen make their schedules, navigate academic questions, and adjust to university life. She knows from experience how challenging the first year can be. Aidana also understands how challenging it can be to adapt to a new environment, and she knows how important it is to have someone who can guide and support students during this period. She really values being that person who supports and guides them during this transition.

ADEMI AKYLBEKOVA

Major in Business Administration, BA-123

鈥淓verything is worth trying, do your best, and the rest will be given by God"

Ademi Akylbekova is a junior student of the Business Administration department. She is passionate about baking (though she does not eat sugar) and handiwork. She is also a beginner in running but has already completed two races and earned two medals. Ademi loves numbers, fall, lattes, and kittens.

She appreciates the role of peer advisors in helping new students adapt to university life. Since it was difficult for her in her freshman year to get acquainted with the university, offices, courses, and instructors, she wants to do her best to ensure that students and advisees do not face the same problems.

Akbar Aitemirov is a junior student of the International and Business Law department. He enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds and tries to create an academic environment where everyone can learn something new from each other.

Akbar is a peer advisor to support students with academic questions, share the knowledge and experience he has gained over the past few years, and just talk to the students if they want to.听

Alina Abasova is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. She is good at math and knows how to listen, which is why she is a WARC tutor. Alina enjoys active sports such as hiking and biking, although nowadays she has little time for them. Alongside sports, she likes all types of games: board games, computer games, phone games, and more.

Amina Shailobek kyzy is a sophomore student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department. She is always curious and eager to learn and grow. Amina strives to balance persistence with empathy, facing life鈥檚 challenges with an open heart, knowing that we are only given what we can handle. Her main reason for being a peer advisor is that she remembers how overwhelming it felt having many questions as a freshman. Amina knows how comforting it is to have someone to turn to, so she is excited to be that person 鈥� a friendly guide who helps students find their way, feel supported, and gain confidence along their educational journey.

Anastasia Asambaeva is a senior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department with a concentration in Digital Cultures. Her hobbies include photography, art, and video games.听 She enjoys observing and appreciating nature 鈥� even something as small as plants on the sidewalk. When learning something new, even if it seems useless, she always tries to come up with a way to explain and share it. As a peer advisor, she wants to help fellow students so they do not feel lost and can settle in more easily. She would especially like to contribute to events and educational activities.

ARLEN SEITALIEV

Major in Applied Mathematics and Informatics, AMI-123

"What do you think you know and why do you think you know it?鈥�

Arlen Seitaliev is a junior student of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department. He is an introvert and prefers to chat rather than hang out in unfamiliar company. He spends most of his time studying, playing video games, or reading manga. In general, he is interested in popular science topics. Arlen enjoys helping students navigate both academic and personal challenges. When he was a first-year student, his own peer advisors supported him, encouraged him, and showed him how to adapt to university life. Becoming a peer advisor feels like a way for him to give back and honor the guidance he once received.

He is the Student Senate Chair and an active volunteer in university life. Artur鈥檚 reason for being a peer advisor is to reduce difficulties during registration processes.

Begaim Dzhandaeva is a junior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department, double-majoring in European Studies and International and Business Law. She is interested in art, history, and the culture of Kyrgyzstan and Europe. Begaim adores the movie 鈥淭he Devil Wears Prada鈥� and loves reading books by Dan Brown.

She really enjoys making schedules for subjects. Since she is pursuing a double major, Begaim would like to utilize her experience in creating schedules to help others.

Major in Journalism and Mass Communication, Minor in European Studies, JMC-122

Hoda Sadat is a senior student of the Journalism and Mass Communication department with a minor in European Studies. She has also completed the OSUN Certificate course, which strengthened her academic and professional skills. Her main reason for being a peer advisor is to support other students in navigating their educational and personal journeys. She enjoys sharing her experiences and guiding others toward opportunities that can help them grow.

Ikbol Allakhunov is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. He is a motivated student who values learning, growth, and teamwork. He enjoys helping others succeed and believes in building a supportive academic community.

Luna Maltseva is a junior student of the Software Engineering department. She is a designer, writer, and programmer. Her engagement with the university goes far beyond academics. She collaborates with offices all over the university to create masterful in-house resources. Luna serves as a peer advisor to create an informal communications channel with students taking Introduction to Programming and Object-Oriented Programming, for which she is a Teaching Assistant.

Mariia Bystrova is a senior student of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department.听 She likes to draw and values creativity. Mariia is passionate about the mission of peer advisors: to help and guide students who are new and not yet accustomed to the unusual system they face. Peer advisors helped her a lot, and she is grateful that such a role exists in the university. Now, Mariia wants to apply her efforts to build the community and help others.

Nagima Arapova is a junior student of the International and Business Law department. She has a wide range of interests: from lectures and volunteering to reading, traveling, exploring fashion, and enjoying cozy moments with her loved ones. She is drawn to the new and unusual and tries to find inspiration and little adventures every day. Nagima knows firsthand how meaningful it is to receive guidance and support when you need it most. Helping others gives her joy and allows her to connect with people. As a peer advisor, she would like to be actively involved in the activities of the Advising Center.

Nahida Qasimi is a junior student of the Psychology department, majoring in International and Comparative Politics. She has led youth leadership and community projects supported by the U.S. Embassy, served in 星空无限鈥檚 Student Senate, and worked in cross-cultural programs abroad. Passionate about mental health, diplomacy, and sustainable development, she aims to bridge psychology and international relations in her future career. As a peer advisor, she wants to support fellow students鈥� academic success and well-being by sharing practical study strategies and offering a listening ear. Nahida would also like to be involved in the Advising Center鈥檚 activities by supporting workshops, mentoring students one-on-one, and helping to create resources that make academic life easier and more engaging.

Sabina Dzhumalieva is a senior student of the International and Comparative Politics department. She sees university as a bridge - sometimes wobbly, sometimes wide, always full of possibilities. She believes that the way students will face tests and triumphs, challenges and opportunities, each pushing them toward their goals. Sabina鈥檚 journey at 星空无限 has had its bumps and bright spots, shaping who she is and how she approaches the world.

As a Peer Advisor, Sabina walks alongside students to celebrate their steps forward, support them when the path feels shaky, and ensure they never feel alone on their academic journey as they cross that bridge - the bridge to the future. Her primary reason for being a peer advisor is to help and guide students through their academic experience. She aims to use the knowledge and experience she has gained at 星空无限 to support others, help them avoid unnecessary obstacles, and encourage them to grow with confidence.

Saltanat Isaeva is a sophomore student of the Psychology department. She has a strong desire to help freshmen, especially since there were no peer advisors during her first year of study.

Serdar Urustemov is a junior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department. Just a simple guy who is trying to study with two minors in Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Informatics, he really enjoys extracurricular activities and communicating with people, though his social battery can run out at any moment. When he first came to 星空无限, it was unusual to be responsible for his entire schedule, study plan, and curriculum on his own. It was both difficult and interesting. Especially after planning for double majors and minors, he realized how exciting it could be. Now he believes he has every opportunity to help others with the same enthusiasm he had back then. He enjoys helping students with their problems and questions, and he is always ready to provide individual support.

Tynchtykbek Raiymbekov is a junior student majoring in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Social Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking, combining academic studies with his role as a product manager at an IT company. He works on projects that merge technology with social impact, including educational games and a podcast on social innovation. The main reason he became a peer advisor is his desire to help other students cope with academic and personal challenges. He wants to share the skills, strategies, and experiences he has gained as a student to support others in succeeding. Tynchtykbek is especially interested in mentoring and supporting students through one-on-one advising sessions.

Valeriya Pan is a junior student of the Applied Mathematics and Informatics department. Valeriya is passionate about studying in groups with her friends and supporting others in their academic journey. Beyond studies, she likes listening to music, drawing, and exploring new places. As a peer advisor, Valeriya believes that students thrive best when they feel supported and understood. Sharing her own experiences and helping others navigate academic and personal challenges motivates her to contribute to the community. She also finds it very interesting to meet new people with different backgrounds.
