AIDANA UMETALIEVA Major in Sociology, SOC-122 "Never lose yourself" and "Stay curious and keep learning" Aidana Umetalieva is a senior student of the Sociology department. She enjoys learning, meeting new people, and exploring different perspectives. She likes helping others and making connections that make everyday life more enjoyable.听 Aidana has been a peer advisor for two years, helping freshmen make their schedules, navigate academic questions, and adjust to university life. She knows from experience how challenging the first year can be. Aidana also understands how challenging it can be to adapt to a new environment, and she knows how important it is to have someone who can guide and support students during this period. ADEMI AKYLBEKOVA Major in Business Administration, BA-123 鈥淓verything is worth trying, do your best, and the rest will be given by God" Ademi Akylbekova is a junior student of the Business Administration department. She is passionate about baking (though she does not eat sugar) and handiwork. She is also a beginner in running but has already completed two races and earned two medals. Ademi loves numbers, fall, lattes, and kittens. She appreciates the role of peer advisors in helping new students adapt to university life. Since it was difficult for her in her freshman year to get acquainted with the university, offices, courses, and instructors, she wants to do her best to ensure that students and advisees do not face the same problems. He is an introvert and prefers to chat rather than hang out in unfamiliar company. He spends most of his time studying, playing video games, or reading manga. In general, he is interested in popular science topics. Arlen enjoys helping students navigate both academic and personal challenges. When he was a first-year student, his own peer advisors supported him, encouraged him, and showed him how to adapt to university life. SERDAR URUSTEMOV Major in听 Liberal Arts and Sciences: Mathematical Modeling in Natural and Social Sciences Minor in Software Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Informatics, LAS-122 "Hard work pays off鈥 Serdar Urustemov is a junior student of the Liberal Arts and Sciences department. Just a simple guy who is trying to study with two minors in Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Informatics, he really enjoys extracurricular activities and communicating with people, though his social battery can run out at any moment. When he first came to 星空无限, it was unusual to be responsible for his entire schedule, study plan, and curriculum on his own. It was both difficult and interesting.
